Hi Friend!

Whether you’re a young couple thinking about buying your first home, or someone experienced in the massive highs and lows of fixing a Fixer, we’re so glad you’re here!

We’ve been doing this for going on 9 years now. We have a two-family 2200 sq. ft. house and a 1400 sq. ft. single family home under our belts. Now we’re at the tail end of major DIY renovations on our 2800+ sq. ft. Victorian Farmhouse on 1.5 acres in the mountains of western/central New York.

If you’re looking for inspiration on what an old house has the potential to become, go here to check out our old fixers.

Want some motivation to fix up a fixer, rather than buying a finished home? Go check out our reasons for doing it or take a look at the before and after of our fully renovated kitchen in Fixer #3 or the smaller kitchen we gutted and remodeled for Fixer #2.

Need some solid advice on how you can save lots of money on your kitchen renovation? <- We wrote that just for you.

Are you about to be living through a kitchen renovation and don’t quite know how to survive it? I’ve lived through two full, down-to-the-studs kitchen renovations and still fed my family through it. I shared my best survival tips here.

Need some good tool suggestions for a home renovation? Other than a sledge hammer and eye protection, and steel toed boots depending on how well you swing that hammer, here’s a non-exhaustive list of ones we love!

Are you looking for some advice in regards to home renovation and buying (or even being a landlord)? We made a Fixer Tips section and are always adding to it, just for you.

If you’re a brand or company that would like to work with us, feel free to check out our Work With Us page and contact us through there.
